In response to the U.S. President’s current recommendation to avoid crowd gathering and slow the spread of COVID-19:
The District 8 meeting for the Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative previously scheduled for Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Crosspoint Fellowship Church in Schertz has been cancelled.
As the original meeting notice distributed in early March explained, the purpose of this meeting is to hold an election for nominating an individual as a Director-Candidate to represent your district on the GVEC Board of Directors.
Aside from being nominated at the District Meeting, there are two other ways to be nominated as a Director-Candidate for District 8 to be officially voted on by the GVEC membership at the Annual Meeting currently scheduled for June 26, 2020 in Gonzales, TX. Those ways include:
