The fastest, simplest way to report an outage and check the status is with TextPower.*

MyGVEC

Use the MyGVEC customer service portal from your desktop computer or the mobile app to report an outage with accurate account information.

The GVEC outage map is the best resource for the estimated time to restore power. Please, be aware that times are subject to change.

Restoration of electricity is our top priority. Internet issues and outages will be addressed as outage situations and weather conditions allow. You can view our GVEC Internet Outage Map located here.

You will be alerted via the Emergency Resource Center and on our social media platforms if ERCOT has issued a call for rotating outages.

Rotating outages are issued by ERCOT. Rotating outages primarily affect residential neighborhoods and small businesses and are typically limited to 10 to 45 minutes before being rotated to another location.
