GVEC is pleased to announce the Cooperative was recently recognized as a Platinum Safety Partner for outstanding efforts in providing their employees a safe workplace in 2021. Sponsored by Texas Mutual Insurance Company, this designation is given annually to only the top 200 businesses out of 72,000 policyholders across the state.
As written in the official award letter, Texas Mutual Insurance Company utilizes the Work Safe, Texas Award Program to recognize policyholders whose commitment to employee safety sets them apart. GVEC was among the list of policyholders that have “gone above and beyond to ensure their workers’ safety.”
Texas Mutual Representative Andrew L. West wrote in his comments, “Your company is one of just 200 businesses receiving this award out of our 72,000 policyholders across Texas. We selected your company because you provide the resources necessary to protect employees from workplace hazards, which is reflected by your outstanding safety record. Simply put, it is clear that safety is a core value in your organization.”
