2020 has been a year many of us can’t wait to wish a less-than-fond farewell. Though we may have seen some unprecedented challenges, this is the season to look for silver linings as we reflect on what we’re thankful for.
This month, we’ve featured some GVEC employees we’re very grateful for—our GVEC Home® and GVEC Internet teams—as we asked what they’re most thankful for in 2020. Here’s what they had to say:

“I’m thankful for many, many things! However, the two aspects of my life I’m most appreciative of are my personal family and my work family. I’m appreciative of the Internet team that surrounds me daily with support, optimism and the desire to make a difference. My personal family shows me never-ending, unconditional love which I’m forever grateful for. I have such fulfillment being a part of these two amazing families!”

“I’m thankful for my wife Katie Rae for taking on the role of teacher for our seven-year old daughter Georgia, and I’m thankful for my son Ellis—he always keeps us on our toes and is quick with a joke. I’m also thankful for my friends and our Zoom happy hours; I’ve seen them more during the pandemic than I normally would! And I am thankful for technology that has allowed our Co-op to continue operating during this pandemic.”
At GVEC, one of the things for which we’re most thankful is the work family we’re a part of, including our GVEC Home and GVEC Internet departments. As we put our corporate values into play each day, these teams put a lot of focus on excellent customer service to ensure an array of home services and home comfort as well as fast, reliable internet is available to our GVEC members and customers.
